Silence and cold.  One or the other would have been discomforting, but both together was torture.  It was dark all around.  He felt nothing.  Had he died?  Where was his father, then?  …His mother?  He waited.  They did not come.  He would have to go to them.
A stiffness in his shirt alerted him to his senses.  The darkness did not leave, but he could hear murmuring from somewhere close by.  He was not dead, then.

Vyu knelt beside Eblean, wishing she could reach through the mist that surrounded him to touch his cheek.  It had been so long, too long, since she had seen his eyes open and staring at her, as he had before this whole mess began.  It killed her to realize how helpless she was every time she gazed at the man’s pale face, and yet she returned again and again, as if she expected to feel something different.
“Do I secretly beg to feel this emotion of guilt and regret?”  Vyu sighed and stood, giving Eblean a last longing glance before she turned.

Return From Nonexistance...?

Hello everyone. I am indeed not dead, though at times I wish I had boughts of unconsciousness that caused me to go into the future, to a time when I've finished all my AP homeword and never have to deal with it again. Then again, regaining consciousness would be the worst thing ever after that, so I guess that's a no go. Ah, well. Anywho, I've been too busy to do anything that I deem worthwhile to my career such as writing my book and practicing my bassoon. I'm in a play that makes me feel a whole lot happier about my life, but that doesn't change the fact that it does, indeed, take up most of my time.

BUT THAT'S OKAAAAAY!

Lacher is planning on having somewhat of a life sooner or later, so let's hope it'll be sooner.
